
Linda is responsible for the day-to-day operations of the company, including implementing the company's strategic goals and objectives. Linda brings more than 27 years of experience in building commercial software products, with a strong focus on delivering market-leading performance optimization software products and services to meet the needs of life sciences customers.
Before joining DecisionView, Linda provided management consulting services to the company and several emerging enterprises and venture capital firms. Prior to this, she ran product development and delivery at a number of leading software companies, including DigitalThink, Hyperion, Arbor Software and Sybase.
Linda holds a BA in Computer Science from UC Berkeley and has completed the Haas School of Business Executive Program.
Dr. Spera is responsible for DecisionView’s predictive models and algorithms. He brings over twenty years of experience in the area of applied mathematics and operations research, with an emphasis on supply chain, network optimization and agent technology.
Prior to joining DecisionView, Dr. Spera was the founder and CEO of Zipidy, a company that provides mobile services to nomadic users. He launched iPark, the first solution to allow drivers to locate available parking on-street and pay the meter through the cell phone. Previously he served as Chief Supply Chain Officer at Finmatica where he led the definition, development and go to market strategy for their new suite of supply chain software products. Dr. Spera started his entrepreneurial career as CEO of Saltare, the first start up to fill the gap between planning and execution in supply chain. He has been recognized by blue chip customers and analysts for his vision in the "adaptive enterprise" and the use of agent technology to build an adaptive planning software solution. In 2002, Saltare merged with Vizional. Here Dr. Spera re-positioned the company as the leading provider of RFID agent based supply chain software solutions.
Dr. Spera is a graduate with summa laude from University of Siena and Yale and holds a PhD in Operations Research. He has been a Fulbright Chair Professor at University California at Berkeley, and has taught at University of Michigan, M.I.T, Columbia University and University of Siena. He has published over forty referred papers and has been invited to speak at several universities around the world.
As Vice President, Services and Support, Shelly is charged with ensuring customer satisfaction at DecisionView. Her team—comprised of Technical Account Management, Solution Architecture, Training Services and Technical Support—define the solution and approach for each implementation, guide customers through their projects, train users, and provide timely and thorough responses when users need support.
Shelly joined DecisionView in July 2005 from Convergys Corporation (formerly DigitalThink), where she led a team of 60+ learning consultants who supported sales, designed training programs, consulted with clients on change management initiatives, and created individual training courses. She brings over 15 years of client management and team building experience to her role at DecisionView.
Shelly holds a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and English from Cal Poly, Pomona and a Master’s of Arts in English from San Francisco State University.
Suresh is responsible for Product Architecture, Engineering, Quality Assurance, and Technical Documentation. Suresh brings over 15 years of high-tech leadership experience delivering successful commercial software products, managing complex web architecture projects, application server platform integrations, and building effective off-shore product development teams.
Prior to joining DecisionView, he served in various Engineering and Senior Management roles at Oracle spearheading development of Oracle’s Business Analytics software including Oracle Discoverer, an award-winning application for ad-hoc query, analysis, and reporting solution. Prior to Oracle, he designed and developed communication applications for IBM on various platforms. Suresh has a B.S. (Honors) in Computer Science & Engineering from the National Institute of Technology in India, and an MBA from the University of California at Berkeley.
Dan is responsible for demand generation, corporate marketing, and product marketing at DecisionView. With more than 18 years of experience driving corporate strategy, product strategy and marketing execution for both public companies and startups, Dan is focused on promoting DecisionView’s market leadership and engaging with the company’s prospects and customers.
Prior to joining DecisionView, Dan spent two years as a marketing consultant working with a variety of Silicon Valley technology companies, ranging from Internet startups to global software giants. Before that, Dan held a number of marketing positions (including VP of Marketing) at Tumbleweed Communications, where he helped build the company’s market leadership and drove strategic new product initiatives. Dan has also held marketing positions with Platinum Technology, ePeople, Expert Edge, and Oracle.
Dan has a BA in Economics from Stanford University, and an MBA in marketing and operations from UCLA.
Jim serves as the Chairman of the Board and as Executive Chairman. As Executive Chairman, Jim is focused on strategic matters of the Company, including corporate strategy and strategic partnering. Jim has more than twenty years of experience as a "C"-level executive in both public and private software companies. Jim also serves as CEO-in-Residence with Granite Ventures, one of DecisionView’s investors.
Before DecisionView, Jim served as Chairman and CEO of Tumbleweed Communications, a publicly traded enterprise security software company. Previously he was CEO of ComnetiX, a leading provider of criminal intelligence systems. Prior to that Jim held senior management positions including President and COO with Identix, a publicly traded biometric technology company.
Jim earned a bachelor of sciences degree in business administration - accounting from San Jose State University.
